Tessela Hackney Parrot/Helter Skelter – Tessela’s first release on his Poly Sounds record label, both Hackney Parrot and Helter Skelter are huge! I heard Hackney Parrot from Tessela’s Boiler Room set with Loefah, thinking holy shit this is sick, still feel the same way now as well tbh. The chopped up vocals working with the chopped up breaks and sinking bass, it’s just quality! Helter Skelter is another banger aswell, the percussion is so on point, really feeling that stripped back sound, then of course the synth that comes in around the 3.55 mark – fucking genius.
